Frame Sizing And Fitting

It might seem odd to purchased a pair of glasses online because you can't try them on...........but it is actually very easy to find the right size of frame for your face.

The concept is simple.  You want to compare the glasses that you already wear to those that you are going to purchase from us.  (you can use sunglasses or readers if you have never worn prescription glasses before)

You will find the measurements for each frame right beside the big “head-on” picture of the frame.  There are also little pictures there that show you how to measure your frame and compare it to ours. Just get out a millimeter ruler and you are ready to go!
If you dont have one, click here, to get a picture which you can print and use.  It will have both inches and millimeters on it so please check the inches side with a tape measure or ruler that you have to make sure the printing was done at the correct size.

If your frame style is different, you can still use it to compare.  You might notice that our lens is a little taller, for example.  You can use your finger to “add” that distance to your glasses while looking in a mirror  - by putting your finger across the bottom of your lens – but a little lower.

Or maybe our lens size is a little shorter.  Again, you can look in the mirror at your glasses – on your face – and use your finger to “cut off” a bit of your glasses to see how much vision you would lose with a shorter lens.

For more details – please see the FAQ (Frequently Asked questions) located under the INFO menu at the top of each page – or at the bottom of each page and click on “Sizing”

You can also view a video on how to do it.  Just click here or on the Video: Measuring Glasses link on this help tab.
